The Moon of My Heart

Here comes the moon,

Here glides the swoon,

Over a golden, early dusk, autumn field of my heart

Leaving day for night, using feeling for sight.

A melancholy zephyr sails through locks of delectation,

I sift through dregs of my satisfaction,

I come up with brilliant silver ghosts of happy times once,

Then trudge past memories of fallacious days,

Finally deciding to walk away from the blaze,

To enter the maze

Of the future days and further haze,

Shadowing the moon of my heart.
